Chase Blanchard

Big, physical defenceman who played a steady, reliable game on the back end. Used his size to his advantage, finishing checks and making his presence felt physically. Did a nice job reading opportunities to pinch down the wall, keeping pucks alive in the offensive zone and extending possessions.

Good-sized defenceman with decent mobility and a fairly well-rounded, straightforward game. Did a good job of getting pucks through traffic and on net from the point. Keeps his game relatively simple, moving the puck efficiently and generally making effective decisions without trying to do too much. Not overly dynamic in any particular area but played a steady, reliable game.
