Game grade A

Good-sized, quick forward who played with a high compete level and brought consistent effort every shift. Displayed excellent first-step quickness and four-way mobility, allowing him to close gaps quickly and remain elusive with the puck. Attacked the middle of the ice with purpose and showed good skill, puck protection and strong board play, keeping his feet moving through contact to extend plays despite a somewhat lean frame. Game grade A

Highly dynamic defenceman who displays some of the best skating ability in the draft class. Possessed elite edgework, explosive acceleration and exceptional puck control, allowing him to escape pressure, lead breakouts on his own and gain the offensive zone with ease. Constantly activated offensively and was a dangerous threat from the blue line, using deception and high-end skill to beat defenders or draw them in before finding teammates in open scoring lanes. Showed excellent awareness in exploiting open space and used his speed effectively to shut down opposing plays. A highly skilled, game-changing presence on the back end.

Thomas Luksic

RW · Vaughan Kings · 2027 Draft

Game grade A

Was arguably the most noticeable player in the game, consistently creating problems for defenders despite being somewhat undersized. Extremely slippery with the puck, displaying excellent edgework, tight turns and stop-and-start ability while maintaining full control. Showed great vision and awareness, highlighted by a beautiful pass on a 2-on-1 rush for an assist. Played with a strong motor and was a dangerous offensive threat shift after shift, with his lack of size having little impact on his effectiveness.

Tall, rangy defenceman who displayed good skating ability, quickness and strong hockey IQ. Showed excellent awareness, knowing when to jump into the play and when to hold back, while making smart extra passes to create opportunities. Made strong, well-timed pinches to keep plays alive in the offensive zone. At times rushed his decisions with the puck and could benefit from slowing the game down, but showed good instincts and an ability to impact the game at both ends.
