Kade O'Rourke

Despite a relatively quiet outing in a lopsided victory, O'Rourke's high-end talent was still evident. An elite skater with exceptional edgework and explosive acceleration, he consistently demonstrated the ability to create separation and manipulate defenders, drawing pressure before distributing the puck. Showcased his lethal release on a beautifully executed goal, receiving a cross-ice feed and snapping it home. His processing speed, offensive awareness and ability to dictate the pace of play were impressive, while also showing a willingness to engage physically when needed. A dynamic, complete talent who displayed his legitimate top-of-the-draft upside.
